Pricing

Priced so the whole team can be in it.

Per person and month, billed annually. AI is not a separate tier here: the interface that makes your knowledge readable for assistants is in every plan — and so is the data processing agreement.

Questions people ask first

When can I sign up?
Basalt is pre-release. The early-access list is the only way in right now, and it means exactly one email — sent when signup opens, not before.
Where is our data?
In a data centre in Germany, processed inside the EU. The data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR comes with every plan, including the free one.
What happens to our pages if we stop paying?
You export the workspace as Markdown, including field values and the structure of your databases. That path is tested on every release, because an export nobody tests is a promise nobody keeps.
Can we bring our Notion workspace across?
Yes — pages, databases and links, and the same for Obsidian vaults. Migration support is part of the Enterprise plan; for smaller teams the importer does it unattended.
Is our content used to train AI models?
No. AI in Basalt is optional and runs on a key you provide. Without that key nothing you write is sent to a model, and we never use customer content for training.

Early access

Basalt is not open yet.

Editing, databases, collaboration, permissions and import all run — we are finishing the parts you would notice were missing. Leave your address and we will write once: when you can sign up.
